Having come into the project at a late stage, Chelbrooke Homes was engaged to bring the clients’ final-stage design plans to life. The home, designed for the clients’ sloping block, has maximised the beautiful views surrounding the property. It also features a large open-plan living area that opens onto a balcony, allowing breezes to permeate the home and providing the perfect vantage point for taking in the views. A combination of different finishes were used, including rendering, matrix cladding, feature stone and tile on the exterior, while a timber staircase and planter box adds visual interest to the home’s interior. Despite the difficulties involved in building on a site with a considerable slope, Chelbrooke Homes achieved the clients’ design and exceeded their expectations. The clients were kept up-to-date throughout the entire process and were regularly informed about the progress of the build.
