AN ALLURING COUNTRY MANOR AUTHENTIC TRADITIONAL FEATURES Designed by Storybook Cottages and built by Danma Services, this home is a charming tri-level design that caters for the busy lifestyle of the clients. Zoning within the home has been achieved in a manner that ensures convenience and comfort for day-to-day living. Great care was taken to design a home with a traditional aesthetic that fits with the character of the streetscape. This look has been created with the use of BGC NuLine weatherboard cladding and Hoobler Stone on the home’s exterior. Attention to detail in the roof, windows and colour palette also contributes to the visual appeal of the spacious house. In accommodating the slope of the site, it was necessary to devise a floor plan that offered the desired zoning without detachment for the large family, and importantly to fit within the clients’ budget. The slope of the site posed a design challenge that was overcome with the tri-level floor plan. Water flow over the site has been considered, with a subfloor system used to keep the home off the ground. Clever design has allowed for plenty of storage space in the home and has provided new areas that are often underused, including generous study nooks. The garage has an upper attic that can be used as a recreation room separate from the house – great for rainy days or as a space teenagers can retreat to. The home has upgraded insulation and the flow of natural light throughout thanks to the use of dormer windows. Natural cross ventilation has been considered when working out the orientation of the house, all contributing to the home’s green credentials. Danma Services provides solutions for any home style or design. The company doesn’t just design homes; it can take care of everything involved in the process of building a home, including financial services, interior design, overall design and colour selections. Working throughout Northern New South Wales and all of Queensland, Danma Services is a family company that was established in 2004. The company builds ten to 15 homes each year and also completes extensions, renovations, swimming pools and landscaping. CONTACT |
