The kitchen was designed by Lavante’s designer, who had to accommodate several architectural difficulties in order to achieve the desired features. The client wanted to accommodate a rangehood into a two-pack bulkhead that would mirror the island bench below, and Lavante had to ensure the look could be achieved without disturbing the ducted air-conditioning system. To enhance the sleek, contemporary look in the kitchen, there are no handles on drawers; instead a bevel was used on the top of each drawer for easy access and a smooth appearance.
