MEDITERRANEAN MARVEL RESORT LIVING AT HOME Rothwell Pools has long held a reputation for creating beautiful outdoor areas and this pool is a shining example of what the Rothwell Pools team can achieve. Measuring 15m x 5m the sheer size of the pool is impressive. Located on acreage, the surrounding bushland and luxurious adjacent pool house complete the striking picture. The owners of this home wanted a large pool and entertaining area that was separate from the main house, while also creating a Mediterranean resort escape in their own backyard. With help from the clients’ landscape architect, Rothwell Pools was able to bring the clients’ Mediterranean dream to life. This was achieved by combining whitewashed walls, natural stone paving and coping, and a rich blue pool interior colour. The stylish pool house features all the creature comforts you would expect from a holiday resort. With changing rooms, a toilet, a seating area and an outdoor kitchen, the homeowners have a pool area perfect for entertaining that can be enjoyed any time of the year. The pool is not only a bright and stunning feature in the backyard; it is also highly efficient. Rothwell Pools utilised a MagnaPool sanitation system, which transforms normal pool water into mineral water by combining magnesium and potassium. This not only offers health benefits to the homeowners, it also means the pool requires less backwashing, so it stays cleaner for longer. Rothwell Pools was established by Chris and Liane Rothwell seven years ago. Completing 50–60 projects a year the company has considerable experience in constructing high-end concrete pools and outdoor areas. The company has won several awards including MagnaPool International Builder of the Year in 2011, as well as a number of Swimming Pool and Spa Association (SPASA) gold awards. The friendly and experienced team at Rothwell Pools can design and build your pool and entire outdoor area, and is just as comfortable working with clients as with landscape architects and builders.
