“The brief was to renovate the existing building and extend with new spaces to the rear to create a professional, modern and unique office to reflect the occupants’ relevance in the community. The street façade was to be expanded and updated with a two-storey extension with parking at the rear. It was essential to find a balance with the traditional face of the building and current modern design trends. The use of dark colours and timber battens applied to the parapet helped modernise the building’s traditional façade. The client’s branding is easily visible and the building presents as a modern and inviting space.”
