“A functional home needed to be designed to act as the principal place of residence for a young family to live while the main residence was being designed, approved and built. The budget allowed the home to have a quality aesthetic and finish to complement the future main residence and offer visual continuity. External and internal custom formulated lime render was used to achieve luxury, textural vertical surfaces with a ‘handmade’ appearance. The overall aesthetic was a modern yet refined structure with minimal internal finishes.”
