The Craftsman and The Draftsman is excited to announce it has entered its stunning creation ‘The Craftsman’s Home’ into the New South Wales 2021 HIA Awards, placing it in the Spec Home category. The husband-and-wife duo Bill and Amanda Shaw wanted to try something new this year, entering one of their builds in an award for the first time. ‘The Craftsman’s Home’ was perfect for this venture, full of detailed designs and carpentry. With all the materials, plans, photos and information required for submission, entering the awards was a lengthy process, but well worth it for the experience of putting this incredible display of quality craftsmanship out into the world.

The Shaws hope that with a home designed for the land, with detailed panelling achieved through impressive carpentry trade skills, the project will standout against other entrants and make an impression on the HIA judges. They expect to find out the results in October – win or lose, there’s no denying their entry is truly something special.
