Contemporary Resort Home by Christopher Design Group

“The project design had significant engineering challenges with 30-degree sloping walls, cantilevered construction and support posts coming out of the pool. With a great deal of planning, care and attention, the project achieved the desired output from the design phase, with thanks to the work of the structural engineer, steel detailer, and builder. The living room transitions out of the timber deck to the north, and the pool to the north-east. This project is a resort-style home with a contemporary industrial feel. Landscaping has been designed to integrate fully with the home and create cohesion. The client wanted an iconic home, so Christopher Design Group used the unique shape of the master bedroom to create something artistic that challenged the premise of what Queensland homes should look like.”
