“This year’s Student Design Awards brief challenged building design students to create a small-scale, multi-residential unit development that appealed to young owners. Students were asked to incorporate James Hardie products and ensure the buildings were as energy-efficient as possible. The winner, Ethan McMartin from Toowoomba, was praised by the judges for his good use of space planning in his Residential Development entry.”
