A complete renovation of this 1990s home has transformed it into a lovely and stylish family residence. The refurbishment of the existing entry, kitchen and living area, as well as the addition of an extra outdoor living space, has completely modernised this home. The construction of the home and its surrounding landscaping was carried out by RYCON Constructions and designed by Margaret Ward from Margaret Ward Architects. The home’s landscaping was designed by Matt Franzmann from Form Landscape Architects. The entry pond has been fully tiled using Italian SICIS tiles, which are highlighted by the use of LED lighting. Off-form concrete entry steps were also highlighted by the use of Italian tiles, while LED lighting highlights the off-form risers. The entry walkway was specifically designed to create the illusion that you’re floating above water, which is a truly striking design element of the home.

The home’s interior was also improved with the addition of a coffered veneer ceiling to the formal living area. The existing blackbutt timber flooring was repolished and stained to a French oak finish, which adds warmth and character to the space. The dark, laminate kitchen comes complete with quality marble detailing and stainless steel benchtops, which creates a stylish yet functional space for the homeowners to enjoy. RYCON Constructions integrated a number of timeless materials throughout the home, which completely revamped it into a warm and classic humble abode.
