“Our client gave us this eccentric brief to design a truly unique loft townhouse that pushed the boundaries of convention. We were presented with a waterfront lot offering great views to the east. With a tight budget we were approached to design a symbol of individualism with a client hell bent on pushing the envelope with a minimalist industrial feel in stark contrast to neighboring properties. ‘Absolutely no plasterboard’ one of many specific requests to accommodate as well as a full-height two-storey red roller door to the rear façade for securing the property when not occupied.”
